How to save $1000’s on internet/data using a GoPhone.
To use this tip you will have to have the goPhone unlimited pay as you go.
- Firstly you will need to buy a feature package card most retailers sell these like walmart etc…The card you require is the $19.99 100mb data card. This for $19.99 is a whooping saving as 100mb of data/internet access will set you back $1,024.00.
- Now these feature packages last for 30days don’t worry as they carry over if you remember to add another data package before the 30 days expire. ( i usually do this on day 29)
- Now you don’t have to get the $19.99 100mb package every time i just top up using the 4.99 for 1mb of data/internet a month after the initial 100mb package.
- Here is how much per year you will spend if you use the on time $19.99 and $4.99 for the next 11 months. $79.87
- To add a feature to your account just dial 611 and follow the voice prompts to add a feature.
So that is less than $80 per year for internet access if you do not exceed the data limit. Which unless you download and are a very high internet power user most people will not exceed the data package.
Now let me compair this to another pay as you go package by verizon. Verizon charges $0.99 per day for internet/data access a one time fee per day that may not seem much until you do the math $0.99 x 365 is $361.35 per year.
Now compairing that to the AT&T even if you had to add extra data ie the $19.99 you would still save compared to the verizon phone.
